I have been gone for a while. Stepped away from watching the news, listening to the same old arguments presented before the masses just by different faces. I have come to realization, yet again… that our world needs a voice of reason. I am going to step up to the plate and take on that role.
In no way am I going to sit here and tell you that I am the authority on everything. I am an expert at reading people though… and I tend to actually listen to what is being said and I hear what people are actually trying to say. With that being said, lets move on to world topics.
President Obama
I voted for this man. I still have faith in his ability to change and lead our country. The problem is that most people expected him to come into office and whip out a magic wand and instantly make this country better.
What most people fail to think about, remember or acknowledge is that our country was a huge ass mess when he took office. There are people that are going to sit there and tell me that he hasn’t made it any better, he has made it worse. That there are actually people that are disappointed that Sarah Palin said she wasn’t going to run for President. (I don’t know about you but I let out a huge sigh of relief!)
Our country is the biggest laughing stock in the world. Face it, we are… and the reason is that we have been so busy running around trying to tell other countries how to operate and treat its people that we lost sight of our own people. We neglected ourselves… we continued to vote politicians into office that promised changed and buckled under the pressure of politics.
Everyone wants to blame President Obama for the deficit as well. Come on now… every time we have a new president that is who gets blamed for the money we don’t have. You can’t put it all on him, sorry… but you can’t. The blame goes beyond Obama… and he would be one of the few presidents that has taken drastic measures to try and get our country out of the hole. I commend him for not playing politics as usual. For standing his ground and working every day to make our country what it should be, accountable and responsible. If any of you think you can do a better job and get better results when being bombarded each and every day by people that are suppose to be working with you to better our country yet take every shot they can to undermine you and your attempts, go for it.

Occupy Wallstreet, Tea Party and so on…
I am pretty sure that this lovely country came into being because people got tired of being jerked around by their government. They wanted freedom, they wanted to be treated fairly… they wanted to be appreciated and listened to.
With that being said… why are there so many people complaining about these groups. Why is are there so many people resisting what these groups wants? They want fairness, they want to be heard and they are standing up to voice their outrage against hypocrites that we as a people vote into office… businesses that we are patronize… they are standing on the front line for beliefs and rights that YOU are going to benefit from!
It irritates me when people complain about taxes and that the rich should be taxed more that the less fortunate should be taxed less. Look, I am by no means rich… at the same time I am not poor. We have had our fair share of really terrible financial times and we have worked really hard to get our heads above water and start making our way towards dry land… I would like every one to listen to what I am about to say…
We need to institute a straight tax. The percentage that you are taxed should NOT be based on how much money you make. Make it a straight 15% across the board.
Why do I say that. Simple math people. 15% of 1 million dollars or 50 million dollars is more than 15% of 15,000. If every body had to pay the same amount of tax regardless of deductions, marital status and income things would improve.
15% of 1,000,000 is $150,000…. of $50,000,000 is $750,000… and of $15,000 it is 2250. That right there gives everyone what they want, those that make more are paying more because the more money you make the greater that 15% becomes. The less money you make the less it becomes and it is fair.
Tea Party people…. I want a government that listens to me as well. I want people in office that actually care about what they are doing and the people that voted them into office. I don’t know what country it is that has that type of government… but in theory ours is suppose to operate that way. What I ask is that you think of putting up someone to run that is intelligent, experienced and has proven that they are not going to buckle to the pressure of Washington… that they don’t care about the clothes they wear… that is prepared to roll up their sleeves and get dirty to make this country a better place for all of us.
Enough of the picking sides… accusing each other of things… step back and see that we as a people act no differently than the people in those countries that we all walk around and “feel sorry for” or are “outraged” at the way people are treated…. and while we are at it… let’s ask our government who they are to tell another country how to operate and treat its people when our own government doesn’t stop and take care of the people that live here.
